Communications / Marketing / Brand Management

City Fringe Location

An exciting opportunity to take ownership of the communications, marketing, and brand management of this well established, successful, fast growing commercial fashion brand.  Working closely with the design and sales team, and reporting to the Directors you will continue to grow this brand through digital marketing and PR, forging strong relationships with their Independent retailers. You will also be required to perform a supporting role in the showroom during the indent selling season.

We are seeking a highly creative individual (with solid skills in the Adobe suite – Photoshop, illustrator & InDesign) who is capable of driving this area of the business, setting a strategy in consultation with the business owners, then working autonomously, pulling in resources as needed from both internal and external sources.  Our client values people who use their initiative and resourcefulness to take ownership and drive their area of the business, who don’t need or want to be spoon fed.  This is not a junior role, however if you have proven your ability within a short period of time we would like to talk with you.  There may be flexibility of hours to suit a more experienced candidate who needs to work around other commitments.  Whilst experience in the fashion industry would be ideal, our client will also consider the right individuals from other creative sectors – beauty, interiors etc.  A full job description is available but essentially the role will cover:

  • External marketing – Facebook and Instagram – monthly calendar and planning, analytics, reach, boosting, analysis of marketing spend, EDM’s to consumer database
  • Website updates (no e-commerce platform)
  • Internal marketing – creating seasonal collateral, sending dropbox links to retailers, Printing of showcards, look books etc
  • Retailers – planning (and participating in) seasonal events and giveaways (gifts with purchase, collaborations)
  • Meetings with stylists, editors, external PR and press
  • Creating opportunities for collaborations with fashion bloggers and influencers
  • Assisting with preparation for seasonal range releases, including sales material and showroom support during the indent selling season
  • Sales presentations to smaller accounts as a support role to the sales team
  • Customer service support as required

We are recruiting this role for a January start.
