What are the key responsibilities?

A women’s fashion Fit Model is a critical position at Glassons, as it is where the Buyers inspiration and creativity reaches a new level.  Your day will involve working closely with the Garment Technicians and Buyers where they will be fitting and adjusting fashion garments on you to ensure the sample sits and flows exactly as imagined.

This role will also provide administration assistance to support the buying and production teams as required.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who is resilient, can stand all day and doesn’t mind spending the day getting in and out of different clothing while Garment techs pin, repin and adjust.

As this role is setting the platform for all size creation we need this person to have specific measurements and have the ability to maintain these. Some of the measurements we’re looking for are height (without shoes) 170-174cm; bust at underarm 88/90cm; waist at narrowest 70/71cm; hip 98/99.

Sales Support role - Interior Textiles

An exciting opportunity has risen in a Sales Support role in our Commercial & Retail Division, with plenty of opportunities to grow and develop your career.

The passion you have for sales will allow you to provide exceptional customer service to our clients, while liaising between both clients and our Commercial & Retail teams.

You will be responsible for providing administrative support to both our clients and our Account Managers.

You are the glue, who holds the division together. To be successful in this role you will be need to be sales driven and be customer focused.

In this role you will be:

  • Offering exceptional customer service support to both our clients and the Commercial & Retail teams.
  • Provide a wide variety of administration support to our Commercial & Retail teams.
  • Process price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments and cancellation of orders for specific Commercial clients.
  • Complete Return Authorisations and Credits.
  • Arranging memos and sampling as and when required for Commercial projects.
  • Have a hands on approach putting digital schemes together and working with fabrics when required for Account Managers.
  • Liaise with our Procurement and Shipping teams on Commercial Projects
  • Prepare reporting for the division.
  • Handle customer queries and resolve complaints.

About you:

  • Customer focused individual, who builds strong relationships easily.
  • Ideally, you are a graduate with some experience administratively supporting sales channels.
  • You will have acquired some textile knowledge in the Interiors or Fashion industry.
  • You have a passion for the Sales industry.
  • Have proficient publishing skills using Photoshop/Indesign or similar programmes.
  • High degree of professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
  • Maintains confidentiality.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise a variety of tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Superior organisation and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills both orally and written with customers and internal colleagues
  • Excellent PC skills and proficient use of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Self-motivated and results driven.
  • Have a good sense of humour
