As a Garment Tech have you always wanted to work for a fashion retailer, working closely with the buyers? Then look no further - this is the role for you!

We are seeking a fabulous EXPERIENCED Garment tech to join this dynamic and very busy retail team.  If you have strong experience working in offshore garment manufacturing, dealing directly with factories on women’s fashion, then this is the exciting new opportunity you have been seeking!

You MUST have experience working as a Garment Tech!

In this role you will be an integral part of an experienced team, working with the buyers on the sample approval process through to garment spec approvals for offshore production, to ensure delivery of quality product to agreed specifications.  

Demands of the industry, working with different time zones, and the diversity of this exciting role necessitate you having outstanding knowledge of garment construction & fits, strong computer skills and exceptional communication & attention to detail ability.

Assistant Product Developer 

North Shore Location

Assist with the development of our clients Accessories division, including Watches, Sunglasses, Cosmetics, Basic Fashion and Costume Jewelry

Assisting Product Manager communicating with Buyers

Close management of importing goods from factories to the shop floor; including sourcing, sample development, sample approval, bulk production, QC testing, timely shipment and delivery to store.

Assisting Product Manager with forecasting sales and maintaining stock levels across all lines.

Assisting with pricing strategies – negotiating prices with factories and proving competitive pricing to Customers whilst maintaining healthy margins.

Working along side Product Manager to ensure Sales targets are met monthly for all categories.

Monitoring Competitors through regular store visits

Skills required:

Attention to detail and good analytical skills

Administration skills including sound spread sheeting knowledge

Good communication and negotiation skills

Must have an eye for Product, to assist Product manager with product ranging.

WAREHOUSE CO-ORDINATOR / VAN DRIVER 

CITY FRINGE LOCATION

We are seeking a strong communicator who is organised and 'onto-it' for this busy role, working for a School Uniform Manufacturer.

This role will see you co-ordinating orders and deliveries to schools throughout Auckland.  There is heavy lifting and a lot of driving involved in the job, but also plenty of variety and communicating with both the internal team as well as the customers.  We are seeking applicants with good computer skills (Word, Outlook and Fabrix would be ideal).  Apparel sector experience would be great but not essential.  Role is available for an immediate start.

Hours are 8.30am - 5pm, $22 per hour

UNIFORM SHOP / WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT 

GREY LYNN LOCATION

We are seeking someone to work 20-30 hours per week in our clients school uniform shop.  This is a delightful place to work assisting children and their parents in the purchasing of their school uniforms and accessories. The role will see you assisting in size selection, helping determine what garments are required depending on which school and the child's individual requirements, and helping in the warehouse too with orders that are going out to on-site school uniform shops.

Hours are flexible so that you can work around other commitments.  This is a family owned company and you will be treated as such.

Ideally you will have some retail experience, or have worked with kids and parents in some way.  A base level of computer skills is required.
